Terms of Service

By using the Chatterly app you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Description of the service

Chatterly is an automation tool that connects to your Instagram Business/Creator account so you can monitor comments on your posts and send automatic public replies and direct messages (DMs) according to rules you define.

2. Account responsibility

You confirm that the information you provide when signing up is accurate and that you are responsible for the security of your account. When connecting your Instagram account you must also comply with Instagram's own Terms of Use.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use Chatterly to:

• Send spam, misleading, or harmful content
• Set up automations that violate Instagram's Terms of Use or Community Guidelines
• Access other people's accounts without permission or act on their behalf
• Reverse engineer the app or copy its source code without permission

If use contrary to these rules is detected, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account.

4. Use of the Instagram Graph API

Chatterly uses only Meta's official Instagram Graph API. Your Instagram account data is also subject to Meta's own policies, and no data is accessed beyond the permissions Meta has approved.

5. Broadcast limit

The broadcast feature in the Inbox can, per Meta's Messenger Platform policy, only send messages to people who have messaged you within the last 24 hours. This is Meta's platform rule, not the app's choice, and it is technically enforced; there is no way to broadcast to your follower list or to older contacts. Attempts to bypass this limit (e.g. with third-party tools) may result in Meta revoking your account's Instagram API access; Chatterly cannot be held responsible for that outcome.

6. Subscription and pricing

The app is offered as a freemium product: your first automation rule is free; subsequent rules and advanced features (including AI mode, unlimited rules, ref links, segments, and WhatsApp templates) require a Pro subscription. The Pro subscription is purchased for monthly or yearly terms and renews automatically at the end of the term you chose, charging the same price again, unless you cancel. Purchases, renewals, and cancellations are managed through the Apple App Store / Google Play; to cancel, use the subscription management section of your store account settings. Even if you cancel before the current term ends, your Pro access continues until the end of that term; no partial refunds are given. Prices and payment are subject to the relevant store's terms of sale.

7. Service interruptions

Chatterly depends on Meta's Instagram Graph API. Changes Meta makes to its API, outages, or permission/access restrictions may disrupt the service; we cannot be held responsible for these situations.

8. Limitation of liability

Chatterly is provided "as is". The accuracy and appropriateness of automatically sent replies/DMs depend entirely on the rules you create; you are responsible for the consequences of that content.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (see Data Deletion). If use contrary to these terms is detected, we may close your account without prior notice.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current terms are always published on this page.
